The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.
Hello once again!
This past Sunday, Bro. John talked about faith. He said something that stuck with me, “God will not completely change your life until you put your faith in Him completely.” That is a sobering thought, is it not? How many times do we say a prayer asking God to change something or do something in our lives only for it to not happen causing us to think that God does not hear our prayer? Maybe it is not a matter of God not hearing us but rather that we still are reluctant to put ALL our faith in Him. I get asked a lot by the students on Wednesday nights, “Beaux, why don’t we see the miracles such as walking on water or raising people from the dead or healing those that can’t walk anymore? It happened all the time in the Bible, why doesn’t it now?” My response back to them is, “How much faith do you have that it can happen?” We live in a time of skepticism and unbelief where everything must be proven. To take something on faith is to be unreasonable in today’s way of thinking. “God will not completely change your life until you put your faith in Him completely.” I want to challenge you today to take a look at your faith and ask yourself, do you trust God completely? Do you put your faith in Him completely? Or is it something that you are still hesitant with because you can’t really see God? How much faith do you have that God can change your life?
We have some exciting things coming down the pipeline in youth for the next couple months! For starters, our Christmas party will be in the next few weeks! Food, games, and a whole lot of fun will close out our 2017 year! You will not want to miss it I assure you!! Be on the lookout for more information as we get closer to Christmas.
Also I am planning on unveiling our Summer Camp trip we will be taking this year with the Youth this Wednesday!! This camp this year is going to be incredible and I absolutely cannot wait for summer to roll around so we can go! Be sure to ask your students about camp Wednesday night after church! So many things are going to be happening at the turn of the year that I am so excited about, but am not ready to reveal them yet so you are just gonna have to wait.
