The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.
Hello once again!
Well DNOW has come and gone and I can say with assurance that it was a complete success!! We had 25 students come and learn about what it means to be FEARLESS with their faith.
I am exhausted, the students are exhausted, but it was an amazing weekend and there are so many people I need to thank as a result.
First and foremost, I need to thank all of the parents for trusting your students to us this weekend. Thank you for allowing me the chance to pour into them over a weekend and trusting them to me.
Next I would like to thank all of the host homes that opened their doors to these crazy kids: Michael and Ranee Taylor, Rodney and Gay Morgan, and Amber and Greg Hardin. Without yall’s hospitality, this weekend could not have happened, so yall have my deepest thanks.
Next I would like to thank my brother, Bobby Pace. All weekend, he delivered the Word of God to the students in an amazing way. Thank you for your willingness to serve and your heart for the Lord that was put on display for all these students to see this weekend.
Next, I would like to thank Will Sherman and his band, Cross Eyed Worship. They led us in worship all weekend long but more than that, they were with the students on and off the stage. Whether it was eating lunch and laughing with them as they asked them every question under the sun, or going to a trampoline park and throwing dodgeballs at them, Will and his band were there the entire time. Thank you so much for yall’s willingness to serve and yall’s heart for the Lord.
I also need to thank Taylor Phillips for coming up and helping run our projector system throughout the weekend. He pulled some long nights and protected my brother from the dark on Saturday. Thanks Taylor.
Next I need to say a big thank you to Kent Finley and his whole crew for feeding us this weekend. We ate like kings and queens with Kent at the helm. We had breakfast tacos, pulled pork, and some amazing biscuits and gravy that were just perfect. Thank you so much Kent for all of your hard work.
Finally I need to say a huge thank you to the leaders who stayed with the students all weekend: Ethan Beane, Camille Webb, Meredith McMillian, Lavelle Walters, and Ranee Taylor. Yall are the reason these weekends can go off without a hitch. Yall are the ones who are with the students 100 percent of the time and are the ones having the most impact throughout the weekend. Truly from the deepest part of my heart, thank you. Yall put on the full grace of God this weekend and demonstrated to these students what it looks like to be fearless in your own faith.
For everyone else who prayed throughout the weekend or contributed in any other way that I may have forgotten about, thank you so so so so so so much!! This weekend was amazing and I already can’t wait for the next one!!
