Hello once again!
I have exciting news to share with all yall! 2 weeks ago I talked to you about Compassion International. This group allows you to sponsor children in less fortunate countries so that they can have access to food, clean water, an education, and most importantly a chance for them to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am excited to introduce yall to Peter and Elizabeth, the two newest members of our church family. We as 412 Ministries have decided to make the pledge to sponsor these two children in hopes that through us, God can do incredible works in these children’s lives.
Peter is 7 years old and lives in Kenya. He has 6 siblings and lives in a 1 bedroom hut with his mom. His dad died when he was young. He is an incredible young man who loves to run around and play hide and seek with his siblings and friends as well as draw and create art. I hope you will join in praying for Peter and his family as we start this exciting journey with him.
Elizabeth is also 7 years old and lives in Tanzania with her 5 other siblings and her mom and dad. She loves to play games and play with her dolls, singing songs, and learning about God. I hope you will join us in praying for Elizabeth and her family. This is an exciting time for us as a ministry and a church! I know I am excited about this opportunity and I hope you will join us.
The other exciting news to share is in regards to a ski trip during spring break in 2018! This is a ski trip I am planning for the entire church. As of this moment, I do not have any specifics nailed down other than the date being spring break 2018. But even still, I wanted to go ahead and share this with all of you so that you can clear your calendars and join us on this awesome trip! As I get more information I will pass it along to you.
This is an exciting time for all of us here at First Baptist Church! I hope you are just as excited as I am to see just what God is going to do.
